When it rains in Buffalo, it turns into a freaking monsoon and the Buffalo Bills found that out the hard way on Monday.
Not only did they announce that 2016 first-round pick Shaq Lawson would undergo shoulder surgery on Tuesday, it was reported that star wide receiver Sammy Watkins is dealing with a broken foot.
Bills beat writer Tyler Dunne reported the news of Watkins’ broken foot, which he heard from sources on Monday.
Luckily, NFL Media senior analyst Ian Rapoport reported that he has already had surgery on the foot and he is on track to return to the team ahead of training camp.
Some more bad news for the #Bills this Monday. Multiple team sources tell me that wide receiver Sammy Watkins has broken his foot.

#Bills WR Sammy Watkins suffered a broken small bone in his foot & had a screw inserted, source said. Should be ready for training camp.

Luckily for them, Robert Woods seems to be healthy and ready to go, so if Sammy Watkins is unhealthy at the start of the 2016 season, he could come in and make plays for them.
Over the last two years, Watkins has recorded over 2,000 yards and 15 touchdowns.
