Mark Cuban to run for president? Only if Kanye West does

There have been reports in recent days that Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is being recruited to enter the 2016 presidential race as a third-party candidate.

Cuban appeared on CNN to discuss the possibility, saying he has no plans to currently enter the election cycle. However, don’t rule out the possibility of a President Mark Cuban just yet.

During a conversation with Business Insider on his Cyber Dust app, Cuban revealed one situation which lead to him announcing his candidacy for the most important office in the free world.

“If Kanye [West] is a party nominee, I’ll run against him,” Cuban said.

So while we may have to wait until Cuban is running for president, he is still letting his thoughts on this year’s race known. Cuban warns of the dangers of a Donald Trump presidency, so let’s hope everyone is paying attention.

After all, if a billionaire business man is going to be president, wouldn’t you rather it be someone who has invested in small businesses, has been wildly successful without gaming the system and someone who “creates jobs” that aren’t overseas? I think so.
