The Rutgers football program is hoping to take a few steps forward in 2016 under first-year head coach Chris Ash, who previously served as the co-defensive coordinator at Ohio State.
In order to generate some buzz leading into the summer, Ash tweeted out a hype video titled, “Jersey Strong.”

Last season, Rutgers went a disappointing 4–8 (1–7 Big Ten) under former coach Kyle Flood, so there is plenty of room for improvement and Ash is ready to lead the team to the next level.
The Scarlet Knights kick off their 2016 campaign on Sept. 3 with a trip to Seattle for a meeting with the Washington Huskies.
