Ezekiel Elliott signed his rookie deal with the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday and everyone seems pretty excited for him. His father, Stacy, was one of those people, but he seemed to want to give Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer some glory.
Stacy Elliott left Meyer a pretty cool note on Twitter and thanked him for helping his son get to the NFL. Considering the disappointment both his parents showed in Ezekiel Elliot not going to their alma mater, Missouri, this is pretty noteworthy.

Over the last few years, Urban Meyer has put more players into the NFL out of both Florida and Ohio State than any other coach. Elliott was the second Buckeye taken in the top five of the 2016 NFL Draft, so it is pretty safe to say that Meyer has done a pretty good job with them.
