Video: Duke, Pitt baseball teams joust during rain delay

If there is one thing we have learned in recent years, it is that rain delays can actually provide us with some of the most memorable moments during the college baseball season. Now, thank’s to the Duke and Pitt baseball teams, we have a fresh reminder.

On Saturday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Panthers were playing host to the Duke Blue Devils at Charles L. Cost Field.

Unfortunately, the weather in Pennsylvania was not cooperative and the game was ultimately canceled. However, not before there was some fun.

During the rain delay, the Pitt and Duke baseball teams put on a little show, complete with some jousting. Judging by the reaction of the players, the Panthers won the battle.

Check it out:

That’s the spirit.

Imagine how much fun baseball would be all the time if we could bottle up that rain delay energy.
