Jack Conklin, Titans agree to rookie deal

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with first-round pick Jack Conklin on his rookie deal.

The former Michigan State star offensive tackle, who began his career as a walk-on before going on to be the No. 8 overall selection, signed a four-year contract which includes a club option for a fifth-year.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Going in as a walk-on, I was at the bottom,’’ Conklin told the team’s official website. “That’s the mentality I am going to take here. I am back at the bottom and I want to keep showing people what I can do and keep earning my way.”

With the signing of Conklin, the Titans have now agreed to terms with eight of their ten 2016 draft picks.

The other seven signees are Austin Johnson, Derrick Henry, Sebastian Tretola, Tajae Sharpe,LeShaun Sims, Aaron Wallace and Kalan Reed.
