Photo: Clemson fan puts ‘3-9’ sign on South Carolina bus

The South Carolina Gamecocks had a pretty rough 2015. Not only did they have their worst record since going 0-11 in 1999, they missed a bowl game for the first time since 2007 and lost 11-year head coach Steve Spurrier to retirement midway through the year.

To make matters worse, bitter in-state rival Clemson nearly brought home the national championship and beat the Gamecocks for the second year in a row.

One Tiger fan decided to mess with their rivals by slapping a sign that read “3-9” on new head coach Will Muschamp’s “Boom Bus.”

The Tigers hold a large advantage over the Gamecocks with an overall series record of 67-42-4. I am pretty sure they are allowed to have fun at the expense of South Carolina right now.

The Gamecocks look to bounce back from a season that started off well with a season-opening win over North Carolina, but went down hill and only saw them gain two more wins. Those wins were over UCF, who went 0-12, and Vanderbilt, who hasn’t been relevant in the last few years.
