J.J. Watt to host CMT Awards

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt is one of the most recognizable faces and names in the NFL today. He seems to have embraced the full Houston lifestyle as it was announced that he will co-host the CMT Awards this year.

CMT announced that he will join Erin Andrews, who co-hosted the event with Brittany Snow last year, on stage at their annual awards show.

Watt, who is a known fan of southern rock group the Zac Brown Band, certainly seems excited for his chance to host the event this year.

I am very excited to be involved in a much larger capacity this year as co-host,” Watt said. “I can’t wait to host the awards with Erin and be part of such a great night, honoring the biggest stars in country music.”

This is going to be a fun night for all country music fans. J.J. Watt will certainly be ready to entertain the crowd on June 8.
