Indy 500: Andretti teammates suffer brutal pit lane crash

The Indy 500 took a disastrous turn for Andretti Autosport teammates Ryan Hunter-Reay and Townsend Bell.

On Sunday, the two teammates had a miscommunication on pit road that led to a collision. Both of the cars were damaged to the point where each driver had to return to the pits later in the race.

That’s something you would like to avoid, especially as front-runners in the race.

Currently, neither driver is in the top 20.
