The field for the 2016 NCAA baseball tournament was announced on Monday and it seemed to be loaded with 64 of the nation’s most-talented teams.
The 16 regional hosts had been revealed earlier this week with seven teams from the SEC making up the list, a tournament record.
Texas A&M and Mississippi State both seemed very excited for being national seeds and they showed that on Twitter. The Aggies landed their highest seed in school history with a fourth seed and the Bulldogs were a seed for the first time in team history.
