Mike Krzyzewski not thinking of retirement

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski has once again shot down rumors of his retirement.

On Wednesday, the legendary coach spoke publicly for the first time since having a pair of offseason surgeries. The 69-year-old Krzyzewski seemed to shoot down any rumors of his retirement in the near future.

I don’t have plans for the future,” the coach said.

He later went on to address retirement directly saying, “I don’t have a retirement thing.”

Mike Krzyzewski has already dealt with some health problems in the past. He had knee replacement surgery in April and also missed the team’s game against Georgia Tech in Atlanta when he was hospitalized with a sudden illness in January.

Despite all this, the five-time national champion doesn’t seem ready to retire at this point. You can almost guarantee that Coach K is going to do what he loves as long as he physically can.
