Another former member of the Texas Tech football program has been arrested in connection with a burglary that took place in January. The burglary led to the dismissal of offensive lineman Trace Ellison, offensive lineman Robert Castaneda and linebacker Dakota Allen.
This week, Ellison was arrested and charged with a second-degree felony charge of burglary of a habitation.
It is the exact charge Castaneda was hit with last week.
According to comments made from Castaneda after his arrest, the idea for the home invasion came from Ellison, who believed an occupant of the home was selling marijuana.
Ellison was booked into Lubbock County Jail earlier this week and released on bail.
