Zach Kline transferring from Cal again

It has been a very odd road for quarterback Zach Kline as he began his career with the Cal Golden Bears. However, it looks like he is going to be looking to take his talents elsewhere, but this isn’t the first time he did that.

Kline came to Cal as a part of their 2012 recruiting class and redshirted his first year. He spent the 2013 year as a backup for Jared Goff before deciding to transfer to Oregon State.

However, he changed his mind, transferred to JUCO Butte College in California for the 2014 season, and then transferred to the FCS with Indiana State for the 2015 season. He was looking to return to the Golden Bears this year.

It looks like he is going to transfer once again as it looks like Davis Webb will be the starter going into the 2016 season. Kline took to Twitter to announce his decision on Thursday.

During his one year of play at Cal, Zach Kline completed 43 of his 82 passes for 443 yards and three touchdowns against four interceptions in just six games.
