On Sunday, it was reported that Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib had been shot in the leg at a Dallas strip club Saturday night. While the details of the incident are still foggy, the cornerback will be at practice, but not participating, tomorrow.
There are numerous differing reports about exactly what happened Saturday night with Dallas police saying Talib was a victim of aggravated assault and others saying he had shot himself in the incident. Whatever the case, head coach Gary Kubiak is concerned about his health, which is why he won’t allow him to practice despite him being with the team Wednesday.
Kubiak says he's had "many" conversations with Talib since the incident. "I'm concerned about his health and where he's at physically."

The Broncos do expect Aqib Talib to make a full recovery and will be on the field at some point. However, the team is unsure of when he will be able to get back to full football activities, but is confident that he will be back for training camp.
Over the last two years with the Broncos, Talib has recovered seven interceptions, 97 tackles, and 31 pass deflections. He would certainly be a big piece for the team if he is on the field for them this year.
The Broncos open the season on Thursday, September 8 as they face off against the Carolina Panthers in a Super Bowl 50 rematch.
