Shaquille O’Neal is certainly not afraid to joke around, whether he is in the locker room or in studio with Charles Barkley. Former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Phil Jackson made that clear when he said Shaq would sometimes show up to practices in the buff.
The 13-time NBA champion — two times as a player and 11 times as a coach — reunited with his former player at an event in New York City on Tuesday and they shared some stories of their time together.
Jackson talked about Shaq’s antics, saying he would show up to practice naked to mess with his teammates.
“Well, you know, numbers of times, he could crack a team up with humorous effects on the floor. There were times when he shocked us all in a practice situation, especially when he showed up nude with just his shoes on.”
However, it wasn’t just Jackson that had to deal with O’Neal and his hilarious pranks. Former Phoenix Suns head coach said that the big man would play “Brazilian naked wrestling” by showing up nude in the locker room and tackling players.
Shaq is certainly a unique person.
