New Jersey high school will play game in Michigan Stadium

Per MLive.com’s Nick Baumgardner, Paramus Catholic High School (NJ) will be playing a game at Michigan Stadium next season.

The game is scheduled to take place on September 2.

As of Wednesday, a university spokesperson at Michigan has confirmed this date.

The Michigan Wolverines and the renowned high school football program have had connections for quite some time now. The relationship started in 2014, when Juwann Bushell-Beatty and Jabrill Peppers committed to Michigan. Relations were furthered when Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh added former Paramus Catholic head coach Chris Partridge to his staff as director of player personnel.

Partridge is currently Michigan’s linebackers/special teams coach, and was a key player in successfully recruiting Paramus Catholic standout defensive tackle Rashan Gary. This was significant, considering that Gary was the No.1 player in this year’s recruiting class.

Paramus Catholic High School will host Michigan’s coaching staff this Wednesday night at a Next Level Football camp.
