Last year, Jake Raulerson announced he would be transferring from Texas to UCLA for the 2016 season. However, plans have changed and the senior will not be heading to the West Coast.
It was reported by Bruin Report Online that Raulerson would be transferring to SMU after he did not gain admittance to UCLA’s MBA and Masters in Applied Economics programs.
Jake Raulerson announced his intentions to transfer to UCLA this past winter and also had North Carolina, Michigan and Stanford on his radar. However, those programs are now full, forcing him to land with the Mustangs.
With the Longhorns, Raulerson started a handful of games throughout his career. He will likely be eligible to play immediately for SMU as he looks to be a big part of their offensive line.
He will have two years of eligibility starting with the 2016 season.
