A very familiar face is returning to the Texas football program.
This week, it was announced that longtime football SID Bill Little will be returning to the Longhorns to serve as a special assistant to athletic director Mike Perrin.
The news was first reported by the Austin American-Statesman.
“When Mike talked to me about the possibility of coming back, it was clear he felt that I could bring something to the table with a knowledge of history of UT athletics,” Little told the paper.
According to Little, his new job will be “to write commentary for the Longhorns’ official website, texassports.com.”
Little is set to begin his new job with the Longhorns immediately as he works under associate director for media relations John Bianco.
