The Kentucky Wildcats have lost multiple players to the NBA and transfers since last season ended. On Saturday, their depth chart may have taken another hit after rising senior forward Derek Willis was arrested for public intoxication.
Luckily for Willis, the charge was just a misdemeanor and he will likely just have to pay a small fine.
Willis may still face minimal punishment with the team this year, but that might be because of the way he decided to take his mugshot instead of the arrest itself.
Derek Willis had a breakout year with the Wildcats last season as he averaged 7.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game and shot 44.2 percent from the three-point line. He started 11 games and it looks like he could end up playing a big role for the Wildcats this year.
