Tren’Davian Dickson likely choosing Houston for 2016 season

Last week, 2016 four-star wide receiver Tren’Davian Dickson announced he would be opting out of his national letter of intent at Baylor. Now, it looks like he has already found his new destination for the 2016 season.

ESPN reported on Wednesday that Houston is the likely frontrunner to land the talented receiver. This would be a huge addition for the Cougars, who are looking to replace Demarcus Ayers from last year.

Dickson originally committed to Texas last year before flipping his commitment and enrolling at Baylor. However, after Art Briles’s firing, he asked for a release from his letter and was granted that this week.

Tren’Davian Dickson’s presence on the Houston offense would be a huge plus for the Cougars, who are looking to repeat their 2015 season that saw them go 13-1 and win the AAC championship and the Peach Bowl over Florida State.

The Cougars open the 2016 season on Sept. 3 against Oklahoma at NRG Stadium.
