Western Michigan, Georgia State announce home-and-home series

The Western Michigan Broncos announced an upcoming home-and-home series with the Georgia State Panthers on Thursday. The series will take the Broncos to Atlanta on Sept. 22, 2018 for the first meeting between the two.

The following year, Georgia State will hit the road as they travel to Kalamazoo on Sept. 14, 2019.

It will mark the first meetings between the two programs in their history.

The Broncos, however, are 6-3 all-time against current Sun Belt schools.

Georgia State is coming off of the most successful season in program history, as they reached their first bowl game. Last season, head coach Trent Miles was named the Sun Belt Coach of the Year and the team returns the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year, wide receiver Penny Hart, so this will be no easy task for Western Michigan.
