Derrick Rose being targeted by Knicks

It’s unclear where Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose will end up next season, but it seems he won’t be with the team that drafted him. One team that is targeting him right now is the New York Knicks.

According to ESPN, the Knicks are looking to possibly trade for the former MVP and it could end up being a big move for the team. However, it could be pretty tough for the Knicks to make a play at Rose since they don’t have very many trading chips.

The Knicks do need the help at the point guard position as Jose Calderon is the team’s incumbent starter for the 2016-17 season, but Rose might not end up being the best choice for them either as he has played in just 50 percent of the Bulls’ games over the last four years.

During the 2015-16 season, Derrick Rose averaged 16.4 points and 4.7 assists per game. It looks like he won’t end up with the Bulls, but it is unclear if it will be after the 2016-17 season, when he is a free agent, or even earlier.
