Dylan McCaffrey takes home top prize at Jim Harbaugh QB camp

The Michigan Wolverines have a pretty good class for the 2017 season and one of their biggest pieces just proved he will make an impact for the program almost immediately. Dylan McCaffrey took home the top honor at the Jim Harbaugh Aerial Assault quarterback camp.

The camp is a very unique one where players show off their athletic prowess in not just football drills, but all kinds of sporting events. The camp includes soccer, fielding baseballs and even a bounce house obstacle course.

McCaffrey is the second consecutive Michigan commit quarterback to win the award after Brandon Peters won it last year. He knows just how important an honor this is for him and his collegiate career.

“Definitely, I think that’s got to be your goal if you’re going to any of these things,” McCaffrey said. “If you want to be a special quarterback you got to want to win. But also I came in with a huge mindset of being able to learn because this is a great opportunity, so many NFL guys, so many NFL coaches here that know what they’re doing.”

This a big deal for Dylan McCaffrey and he is ready to possibly win the starting job once he makes his way to campus in Ann Arbor. The younger brother of Christian McCaffrey is a five-star guy out of Littleton, Colorado and is the second-ranked pro-style quarterback in the country.
