Sometimes, in-state rival teams take jabs at each other by calling one another their “little brother” in the rivalry. One Florida State took it a step farther and kept it relevant with a Father’s Day jab at the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes.

Ouch, that has got to sting. However, “TJ’s” jab at the rival teams doesn’t come without being backed up.
Since head coach Jimbo Fisher took over for the retiring Bobby Bowden in 2010, the Seminoles have been dominant over both their in-state rivals. They have won the last six match-ups over Miami and five of the last six match-ups over Florida.
Florida State should be favored to win over both the Gators and Hurricanes this year as they are looking to make a move towards their second national championship in the last four years.
The Seminoles meet up with the Hurricanes on Oct. 8 and the Gators on Nov. 26.
Happy Father’s Day, Seminole fans!
