Sunday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA championship for the first time in franchise history. It was not only a great night for the team, but an even better night for the city of Cleveland.
The Cavaliers brought home a championship to the city for the first time since 1964 and it was certainly an emotional night for “The Land.” Nike released a commercial celebrating the historic event with fans sitting in stunned silence at what they just witnessed.
From the elder fans that have been waiting years for this moment to the young ones who were born into the agonizing wait, it was certainly a great piece to behold.

LeBron James took home his third Finals MVP as he helped the Cavaliers overcome a 3-1 deficit to pull off the victory. It was a huge win for the city of Cleveland.
It was certainly worth the wait.
