2017 Pitt recruit Exree Loe announces de-commitment

Pittsburgh landed star cornerback Exree Loe as their first commit for their 2017 recruiting class, as they were finishing off the 2016 class. Loe chose to commit to the Panthers program fairly early, in August 2015.

Rumors swirled that Loe may have had thoughts about committing somewhere else, but he maintained that he was totally on board with the Panthers – that is, until Monday.

Even when Exree Loe did commit to the Panthers, he never stopped considering other schools. He’s visited the Rutgers more than once, including a stop by the school just this past week. He also seems to be gaining some interest from Penn State, Tennessee, West Virginia, among others.

Loe is a three-star player from Johnstown, Pennsylvania and is the thirteenth-ranked player in the state for the class of 2017.
