Minor league team to give out Bo Pelini bobbleheads

Bo Pelini is the head coach of the Youngstown State Penguins and he is already pretty popular in the Mahoning Valley area. That is pretty apparent as the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, a minor league team of the Cleveland Indians, will give away bobbleheads of the coach as part of a special promotion.

Right now, fans can purchase a package for three separate Bobblehead Night games. The three bobbleheads they are giving away? Pelini, lead singer of Foo Fighters and Warren, Ohio native Dave Grohl, and former star player Bradley Zimmer.

Tickets for premium box seats can be purchased for $48 and fans will also include a ticket to the team’s July 4th game.

Bo Pelini spent seven seasons at Nebraska before taking over the Penguins last year. He took them to a 5-6 record last year and hopes to do even better this year.

The three bobblehead games are June 25 (Pelini), July 22 (Grohl) and August 13 (Zimmer).
