The 2016 NBA Draft is just days away and it looks like the Philadelphia 76ers have made their decision for the first overall pick. It is between Duke’s Brandon Ingram and LSU’s Ben Simmons and the team will likely go with the latter.
Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com reported that Simmons was working out with the 76ers on Tuesday. During that workout, his camp was informed that he would be taken first overall in Thursday’s draft.

Ben Simmons has been considered the top prospect for the draft since before he began his freshman year with the Tigers. He only solidified that by averaging 19.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game while being named SEC Freshman of the Year.
