Roman Reigns suspended 30 days for violation WWE Wellness Policy

Just days after Roman Reigns lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank, he has had a bit of serious and unfortunate news. WWE announced that he had been suspended 30 days, effective immediately, for a violation of the company’s Wellness Policy.

This is his first violation of the policy and it is not clear what the violation entailed. Regins, real name Joe Anoa’i, took to Twitter to apologize for his “mistake.”

Roman Reigns is now set for a return on July 20, one day after the WWE Draft and four days before he is scheduled to take on former SHIELD members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

There is no telling how this will affect that match or his immediate future with the company.
