The New Orleans Pelicans needed to go out and get some help for forward Anthony Davis and they might have done just that with their sixth overall selection in the NBA Draft. They took arguably the best shooter in the draft in Oklahoma shooting guard Buddy Hield.

The Pelicans now get a very good shooter from outside as they look to transform the Bahamaian shooter into a superstar. He looks to make a huge impact for New Orleans this season.
During the 2015-16 season, Buddy Hield averaged 25.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game for Oklahoma. He also won his second straight Big 12 Player of the Year award.
