The Florida State football team earned ten wins a season ago, but fell short of the College Football Playoff and a return to the national championship. The season finished with a loss to Houston in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, but that does not mean the season was viewed as a disappointment.
On Thursday, members of the Seminoles program received “state championship” rings that honored wins over the in-state rival Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators.
The rings were shared by quarterback Stephen Gabbard on Twitter.

Not too shabby, huh?
It may not be a national championship ring or even an ACC championship, but it is a sign of progress for the team as they look to return to the top of the conference.
