Report: 2 Miami football players being investigated for NCAA violations

-

There are some issues surrounding the Miami football program, as two players — linebacker Juwon Young and defensive end Al Quadin Muhammad — are being investigated for potential NCAA violations, via the Miami Herald

The potential violations stem from the duo’s involvement with a luxury car company.

If there is any good news that comes from the investigation, it is that Muhammad does not seem to be in such a serious situation. In fact, he is still with the team.

Unfortunately, Young is not as lucky.

Young has been suspended for a “violation of department rules” and his future with the program is reportedly “in serious doubt.”

Both Young and Muhammad were expected to be key contributors during the 2016 season, so losing them for any amount of time could deliver a devastating blow to the Hurricanes’ defensive depth.
