Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson is one of the best players in the country today and he is apparently pretty strong, too. He showed that off during a workout on Friday when he cleaned 315 pounds much easier than a quarterback should be able to.
The Tigers have gotten a huge boost from Watson over the last two years and there is reason to believe he would be a big part of their success this year. Clemson looks to get back to the College Football Playoff after going undefeated and falling just short of winning the national title against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
In 2015, Deshaun Watson threw for over 4,100 yards and 35 touchdowns as well as rushing for over 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also became the first FBS quarterback to throw for over 4,000 yards and rush for over 1,000.
The Tigers open the season against the Auburn Tigers on Sep. 3.
