Texans, first-round pick Will Fuller agree to rookie deal

The Houston Texans seem to be one of the favorites to win the AFC South this season, but they knew they needed to replenish their offense to live up to expectations. They did just that by drafting wide receiver Will Fuller in the first round and he has now signed his rookie deal.

It took some time for the Texans and Fuller to finally work out a deal, but they agreed to terms on Sunday. Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported that the four-year deal is worth $10.164 million with a fifth-year option.

Fuller will join third-round pick Braxton Miller alongside veteran DeAndre Hopkins for the Texans this season. This talented corps should help out new quarterback Brock Osweiler, who signed a lucrative deal with the team during free agency in March.

During his career at Notre Dame, Will Fuller recorded 144 receptions for 2,512 yards and 30 touchdowns.
