Video: Penn State TE Nick Bowers has some serious hops

The Penn State Nittany Lions are full of talent and one of their more surprising athletically-gifted players is tight end Nick Bowers.

The 6-foot-3, 270-pound redshirt freshman utilized the help of running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver Tyler Shoop to show off his ridiculous jumping skills. It was pretty impressive for a guy his size.

Nick Bowers joined the Nittany Lions as a three-star member of their 2015 recruiting class and took a redshirt last year. It is hard to believe he won’t be a big part of their offense in the years to come.

This should be a big boost for Penn State almost immediately. It will be interesting to see how the team uses Bowers’s impressive athleticism this year.

The Nittany Lions open the 2016 season on Sep. 3 when they host the Kent State Golden Flashes.
