Penn State, Auburn to play home-and-home series

As of Monday, Penn State and Auburn have scheduled a highly anticipated home-and-home series in the very near future. The Nittany Lions and the Tigers will be playing two non-conference games for the years of 2021 and 2022.

The series will begin with the Tigers travelling to Penn State, while the Nittany Lions will be playing at Auburn’s stadium the following year.

ESPN’s Brett McMurphy confirmed the report of the home-and-home series on Twitter Monday morning.

Auburn was supposed to play out the second half of their home-and-home series against Cal in September, but it now appears that it will be postponed until sometime in 2023. The Tigers’ 2021 season schedule currently stands at 11 games (Alabama State, Georgia State) – so if the SEC does decide to move to nine league games some time in the future, they should be fine.

The Auburn Tigers and the Nittany Lions currently share an all-time record of 1-1 against one another.
