Andrew Luck signs extension through 2021

The Indianapolis Colts and star quarterback Andrew Luck have finally reached an agreement on a big time contract extension that will keep the franchise signal-caller with the team through the 2021 season.

Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted the news on Wednesday afternoon.

While financial details of the deal have yet to be announced, reports indicate Luck will now be the highest paid player in the National Football League.

Needless to say, Colts fans have to be satisfied with the news.

Last season, Luck threw for 1,881 yards and 15 touchdowns in limited action due to injury. On his career, the former No. 1 overall pick has totaled 14,838 yards and 101 touchdowns.
