Jim Harbaugh wasn’t in Hawaii earlier this week just to hold a satellite camp for the athletes in the islands. He was there recruiting for the future of his Michigan Wolverines and he identified a potential star when he offered a scholarship to eighth-grade quarterback Sol-Jay Maiava.
Maiava took to Twitter and announced that he had received his first scholarship offer.

The 6-foot-1, dual-threat quarterback will attend Kahuku High School this fall. He may still be young, be he is certainly ready to show that he can be the quarterback of the future for the Wolverines or anyone else that gives him an offer.
It may end up being good for the Wolverines right now as well. They only have five-star quarterback Dylan McCaffrey committed for the 2017 class while no other quarterbacks have committed for the 2018 or 2019 at this point.
