Video: Michigan re-creates famous scene from ‘The Lion King’

The 1994 Disney film “The Lion King” is one of the most famous movies in the history of Disney movies. The Michigan Wolverines football team took a break from workouts and decided to re-create the famous Pride Rock scene from the beginning of the movie.

In the video, offensive lineman Kyle Kalis plays the role Rafiki, the baboon, and lifted up one of the smaller players on the team, who symbolized baby Simba.

If only head coach Jim Harbaugh had made an appearance in the video.

Yeah, I think Harbaugh’s antics are rubbing off on the team, which may or may not be a good thing. Either way, it certainly looks like the team knows how to relieve some stress in their free time.
