It has been a day of suspensions for the NFL as two players have already been banned for games in the 2016 NFL season. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain has joined that list of suspended players, but his is probably the most impactful.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that McClain had been suspended for the first ten games of the 2016 season after he violated the league’s substance abuse program.
This could be a huge blow for the Cowboys, who are looking to turn things around after going 4-12 in 2015.
Cowboys' LB Rolando McClain will be suspended the first 10 games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, per @toddarcher and me.

McClain has recorded 117 tackles and three sacks in 23 starts with the Cowboys the last two years.
