From 2010-2012, Joker Phillips had relative success with the Kentucky Wildcats, going 13-24 with an appearance in the BBVA Compass Bowl in 2010. After spending the 2015 season in the NFL, he will head back to the collegiate level as an assistant with Ohio State.
It was reported by Kentucky Sports Radio’s Matt Jones on Thursday that Phillips will stay in the state of Ohio and will become as a quality control assistant for the Buckeyes.

For the Buckeyes, Joker Phillips will be an offensive quality control assistant. He will help the coaching staff in game preparations and scouting for the 2016 season, if not longer.
It is certainly going to be interesting to see how the Buckeyes use the former SEC coach. The Buckeyes open the 2016 season on Sept. 3 when they host the Bowling Green Falcons.
