Video: WWE star Shinsuke Nakamura gets raucous ovation in return to Japan

In January, it was announced that Japanese superstar wrestler Shinsuke Nakamura had signed with WWE and he made his debut in what is likely the match of the year against Sami Zayn at NXT Takeover: Dallas the night before Wrestlemania. He is loved by many WWE fans today, both American and Japanese.

When the company made their way over to Japan for their annual tour, it should have came as no surprise as Nakamura made a return to his old stomping grounds. When he came out for his match against veteran Chris Jericho, which is a dream match in and of itself since Jericho also got his first big break in Japan, the crowd reaction was electric.

Jericho even decided to mock Nakamura a little by imitating his patented entrance in the ring. It likely drew some ire from the fans in Tokyo.
