After a little scuffle that occurred between Montreal Alouettes receiver Duron Carter and Iowa Redblacks coach Rick Campbell, the CFL announced the punishments that would incur for both parties.
On Monday, the league released a statement indicating that Carter will serve a one-game suspension while Campbell would be fined since he didn’t do enough to avoid contact with Carter.
The former Ohio State Buckeye turned CFL receiver pushed over Campbell during a sideline celebration after scoring a touchdown in last week’s game. Rather than celebrating on his own side of the field, Carter taunted the Redblacks on their own sideline.
Of course, this was not received well by Ottawa and led to a physical altercation that began with Carter literally walking over the Redblacks coach.

Carter’s own team, the Montreal Alouettes fined him for his actions. An Ottawa cornerback was also fined for throwing a punch during the fight.
