Miami asks fans if they should return to classic logo deal on helmets

The Miami Hurricanes underwent a big change this offseason when they hired alum and Georgia head coach Mark Richt to be their new leader. It looks like they could be going with another change regarding their uniforms in the near future.

On Tuesday, the Hurricanes’ equipment team tweeted out a photo of their helmet asking fans if they should return to the “classic logo,” which features no chrome or metallic and it a one-piece “U.”

A few fans answered to keep the new decals because younger kids like the new look and it will draw in more recruits. However, the majority of fans seemed to love the idea of going back to the old look, similar to this look.

It certainly looks like the Hurricanes could be making some big changes in the very near future. Fans will just have to tune in on Sept. 3 to see Miami take on Florida A&M.
