The SEC is excited for a great season this year as they are looking to make a big impact in the College Football Playoff picture.
This year, the conference celebrates their 25th year of having a conference championship game and it will be the final time they take the field in the Georgia Dome.
On Monday, SEC Communications Director Chuck Dunlap tweeted out this year’s championship game logo. It features a silver football, symbolizing the silver anniversary, and it looks pretty great.

The championship game will move to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2017 as the Georgia Dome will shut down after the 2016 NFL season. The stadium has hosted the game every year since 1994, taking over from Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama, which hosted the first two games.
