Bret Bielema takes shot at SEC teams with suspension comments

Right now, there are a number of teams in the SEC that could be dealing with suspension troubles heading into the 2016 season. Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema is not one of them, but he used that as fuel to his trolling fire at Wednesday’s SEC Media Days press conference.

He took to the podium and was as outspoken and unafraid as ever before. He brought up the topic of suspending players for the first game of the season and he took a shot at several other programs that have faced that in recent months.

Auburn announced earlier this week that they would not suspend four players who were arrested for marijuana possession earlier this year, while Georgia has yet to make a decision on defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter, who has been arrested twice this year with his most recent coming last week.

Bret Bielema has never been scared to open up and talk about anything and everything that would probably not gain him a lot of favor with coaches around the country. It certainly looks like he isn’t backing down now either.
