There is some sad news to report in the college basketball world today, as reports have surfaced that former Clemson Tigers star Demontez Stitt has passed away at the age of 27.
Stitt played with Clemson from 2007-11, averaging 10.8 points, 3.3 assists and 2.7 rebounds throughout his career while making four appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
The sad news was confirmed by the Clemson basketball program on Wednesday morning.

There have been few details to surface regarding Stitt’s death, but some reports have indicated it may have been caused by a heart attack.
