Thanks to Tim Tebow, we now have the latest proof that the Trump campaign is one of the worst run campaigns in American history. On Thursday, the Trump campaign released of speakers for next week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
One of the names on the list was former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, but apparently that was news to him.
Shortly after the news surfaced, Tebow took to social media to let the world know that it was simply “rumors” spreading and that he would not be making an appearance.
Whoops.
That’s more egg on the face of Donald Trump and company, considering his son, Donald Trump Jr., specifically touted Tim Tebow as one of the athletes or celebrities who would be appearing in Cleveland.
As for how the entire mishap happened, Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort said, “I don’t know what happened.”
Yep, that seems about par for the course this campaign cycle.
