Timberwolves guard Tyus Jones wins NBA Summer League MVP

It has been an exciting year for the NBA Summer League and it will wrap up as the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves meet up on Monday to decide the champion. For the latter team, they have seen a superstar emerge in former Duke guard Tyus Jones.

He has been electric for the already-loaded Timberwolves team this year as he has averaged 19.4 points, 6.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds in seven games. Jones was named the MVP of the NBA Summer League Sunday evening.

Tyus Jones will look to lead the team, who was given the last seed in the bracket, to an upset win over the Bulls for the championship. I think it is pretty safe to say the 2015 first-round pick will have a much bigger role with the Timberwolves this season.
