Since the Jerry Sandusky scandal rocked Penn State University and led to numerous severe NCAA sanctions, Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin has said that fellow Big Ten programs are using that to negatively recruit against his team.
While sharing his opinion, Franklin specifically mentioned Michigan State as one of the schools negatively recruiting.
Well, not so fast, my friends.
Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio addressed the topic at Big Ten Media Days on Tuesday, when he denied his program is doing any negative recruiting.
“That’s not how we do business,” Dantonio simply said.
Mark Dantonio asked about negative recruiting allegations from #PennState: "That's not our MO and that's not how we do business."

Sure, that’s what Dantonio has to say in the public, but would anyone be surprised if the Spartans coaching staff was giving negative comments on fellow Big Ten schools while on the recruiting trail? Probably not.
